Convenient and versatile, these Z-mount teleconverters allow you to enjoy ultimate flexibility and explore a wider range of genres for telephoto shooting with the NIKKOR Z lenses.

The Z TELECONVERTER TC-1.4x and Z TELECONVERTER TC-2.0x can easily realise super-telephoto shooting of a focal length of x1.4 and x2 respectively, while maximising the potential of your existing lens. Photographers can be assured that the pairing of these teleconverters still maintains superb rendering performance, as well as autofocus (AF) and Vibration Reduction (VR) performance, when attached to the main lens in use.

A heavy camera pack is a common problem among photographers. With either the Z TELECONVERTER TC-1.4x and Z TELECONVERTER TC-2.0x, achieve a wider super-telephoto range and an increased focal length while utilising the NIKKOR Z lenses and Z mount’s superior delivery of image quality and high optical performance, without adding to the weight of equipment in your pack.

Telephoto shooting is made less challenging with these teleconverters. They are also great at producing photographs of larger-sized subjects while maintaining the original pixel count of the main lens.

The compact and lightweight Z TELECONVERTER TC-1.4x at approximately 220g provides:

• A medium to long telephoto range with an increase in focal length by 1.4x (280 mm-equivalent at the maximum telephoto position) with a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.28x
• Versatility to photograph small objects at a distance, such as a tiger in its natural habitat, or the intense moment a sprinter crosses the finish line

The reliable and lightweight Z TELECONVERTER TC-2.0x at approximately 270g offers:

• A longer, super-telephoto range with an increase in focal length by 2x (400 mm-equivalent at the maximum telephoto position) with a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.4x
• Flexibility to photograph wildlife and birds with a super-telephoto range; a great addition on your travels, all while using your existing NIKKOR Z lenses

The teleconverters are designed to be versatile and attaching one to any of the compatible NIKKOR Z lenses ensures that you can maintain high AF performance to rely on. Photographers have long tried to observe and use natural lighting in the environment to their advantage for amazing photos of landmarks and world wonders. With these teleconverters, there is no need to compromise on image quality as they are designed with intensive consideration of chromatic aberration, tolerance for backlight, distortion, and peripheral illumination.

In terms of build, both teleconverters are designed to be the ideal accessory for the photographer who is on the go. Keeping the photographers and their environment in mind, these teleconverters are perfect in any scenario. With the application of fluorine coat with superb anti-fouling performance, simply wipe off the droplets of water or mud that may have splashed onto the lens surfaces. Both Z TELECONVERTER TC-1.4x and Z TELECONVERTER TC-2.0x have been sealed to protect against dust and water droplets with dust and drip-resistance similar to the S-Line NIKKOR Z lenses, and a rubber ring incorporated on both the lens and camera ends for additional protection. Furthermore, the application of fluorine coat to its extreme front and rear lens elements enables excellent anti-fouling performance.

Rest easy when out and about with the anti-slip knurling that makes attachment and removal effortless, ensuring you never lose your grip.

Offering ultimate reliability and functionality, the teleconverters are completed and designed with various features to help prevent reverse attachment between the teleconverter and lens and/or camera body. The illustration that is printed on the front cap acts as both a guide and protector, designed to prevent an image sensor or a lens surface from being damaged in the result of a wrong attachment.

NIKKOR Z lens line-up expansion

Nikon continues to further pursue possibilities that the Z mount system offers as it actively works to enrich the NIKKOR Z lens line-up with a multitude of high-performance lenses that enrich the creator’s creative ambitions.
