It has come to our attention that the vibration reduction (VR) function built into some Z 7 and Z 6 mirrorless cameras does not achieve its full potential. Nikon will repair the affected cameras free of charge even if the camera's warranty has already expired.

To check whether your camera is one of those affected by this issue, input the serial number of your camera into the respective text boxes below, and click the Verify Serial Number button to verify.  If the result shows that your camera is one of those affected, an instruction for requesting repairs will be displayed. If your camera is not one of those affected, rest assured that you may continue using your camera without concern for this issue.
