Cases have emerged where some of our customers have received emails from parties posing as Nikon's marketing agencies or legal counsel, requesting collaboration by posting or tagging their photos on social media in exchange for free products, or informing of an infringement of intellectual property rights.

These emails bear no relation to Nikon nor any legitimate Nikon Group partners. Nikon will not send emails with such content using a free email account. If you receive such an email, please do not reply, or click any links within the email.

The goal of cybercriminals who target individuals through fake emails is to get recipients to reveal sensitive and/or personal information, extract money or to hack your device with malware.
